NAPNAP Acute Care SIG

The Acute Care PNP Special Interest Group (AC SIG, Acute Care SIG) was established to provide a forum for the promotion of nurse practitioners and other advanced practice nurses functioning in pediatric acute and critical care roles and providing care to children in these settings. With more APRNs practicing in more settings and with more acutely ill children being managed by these practitioners, this SIG seeks to provide diverse educational opportunities, leadership, mentorship, and guidance for APRNs practicing in pediatric acute care. We also want to provide a vision of the evolving role of acute care pediatric APRNs in the rapidly changing health care environment.
